Danielle Schroeder and Band – ‘Later Is Here’ album release concert

Running Time: 2hrs 30mins including intermission

Local alternative folk/rock artist, Danielle Schroeder and her band, will showcase songs from Danielle's newest album 'Later is Here', along with music from past albums (and some fun covers too). Join us for music, stories, and good company!

Show: 7pm to 9:30pm

Danielle's songwriting is an intimate exploration of life's most profound experiences - grief, loss and personal transformation inspired by lived experiences. "I am a counsellor and that has been an integral part of my identity and my music. I started writing music when I was working with people at end of life and their families. Opening myself up to creative expression alongside my work has been very meaningful and inspiring for me."

Danielle Schroeder & Band – Lana Lou’s (Live)

Since 2018 alternative folk/rock artist Danielle Schroeder has been emerging in the Vancouver music scene with the release of her latest EPs Ancient Desire (2023) and Between Two Worlds (2024) that have been well received by fans and press across the world. Danielle is looking to continue her career growth with the release of her new EP ‘Later is Here’ in June 2025.

Drawing inspiration from artists and bands like The War on Drugs, Radiohead and Imogen Heap, “who I listened to a lot as I was working on the songs for this new EP,” Danielle creates expressive soundscapes that compliment her deeply introspective lyrics. Her folk roots, largely influenced by Joni Mitchell and Tracy Chapman, shine through in her soulful guitar work, particularly in her open-G tuning.

With a passion for storytelling and an unwavering dedication to her craft, Danielle continues to share her voice with the world- one heartfelt song at a time. And the world is loving what they hear.

We’re Grateful to Be Here.

The Firehall Arts Centre is located on the unceded and traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) First Nations where they lived and gathered together for thousands of years. Acknowledging their connections to these lands is a significant part of what the Firehall considers when choosing the productions and presentations we undertake and how that work shapes and impacts those around us. We ask our community to reflect on what being present here means to you and those around you.
