Ticket Information

Box Office Hours

We are open Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:00pm.

You can reach us over the phone at (604) 689-0926 or in person at 280 E Cordova St. If coming in person, please ring the doorbell at the admin door on the corner of the building.

On performance days, we are also open 1 hour prior to showtime at the lobby doors.

Ticket Pricing

For plays and dance performances, tickets are $30 for seats in the side sections of the theatre and $40 for centre seats.

For musicals, tickets are $40 for seats in the side sections of the theatre and $50 for centre seats.

For students and seniors (65+), tickets are $30 for all of our shows, anywhere in the house.

What are Pay-What-You-Can (PWYC) shows?

For PYWC shows, patrons choose the amount that they’d like to pay. Unlike the regular sliding scale, there is no minimum price for Pay-What-You-Can performances. You can pay a few dollars or many dollars–it’s up to you! PWYC performances are Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm and Wednesday matinees at 1:00pm. PWYC tickets cannot be purchased in advance; they can only be purchased at the door.

*Note that while PWYC is available for most of our shows, it may not be available for all of them.

How Do I Get My Tickets?

All of our tickets are printed for will-call. This means that if you purchase in advance, physical tickets will be waiting for you at the box office in the lobby of the theatre before the show. If you buy a ticket online, you will be sent a confirmation email that does not include your actual tickets. Our lobby is open 1 hour prior to showtime. Tickets can also be mailed upon request for a $3 fee.

Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds on tickets. All ticket sales are final.

Exchange Policy

Tickets can be exchanged with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to a different performance of the same show for a $3 fee per ticket by calling the box office at (604) 689-0926. Tickets booked using a season pass may be exchanged free of charge.

If you cannot make a performance, and exchanging to a different date is not an option, you may donate your ticket(s) to the Firehall and receive a tax receipt (a minimum $20 purchase value is required for a tax receipt).

If you have additional questions, see our FAQ.

We’re Grateful to Be Here.

The Firehall Arts Centre is located on the unceded and traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) First Nations where they lived and gathered together for thousands of years. Acknowledging their connections to these lands is a significant part of what the Firehall considers when choosing the productions and presentations we undertake and how that work shapes and impacts those around us. We ask our community to reflect on what being present here means to you and those around you.
