Ticket Information

Box Office Hours

We are open Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:00pm.

You can reach us over the phone at (604) 689-0926 or in person. If coming in person, please ring the doorbell at the admin door on the corner of the building.

We are also open 1 hour prior to showtime at the lobby doors.

What is a Sliding Scale?

Sliding scale means that our patrons get to choose the price of their tickets. This season, for most of our shows, our ticket prices range from: $25 up to $45 in $5 increments. Why not pay a little more and support the Firehall’s commitment to low-cost access to arts for our neighborhood?

*Note that the price of the ticket doesn’t change the quality of the seat–you can be seated wherever you like!

What are Pay-What-You-Can (PWYC) shows?

For PYWC shows, patrons choose the amount that they’d like to pay. Unlike the regular sliding scale, there is no minimum price for Pay-What-You-Can. You can pay a few dollars or many dollars–it’s up to you! PWYC performances are on Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm and Wednesday matinees at 1:00pm. PWYC tickets cannot be purchased in advance; they can only be purchased at the door.

*Note that we offer PWYC for most but not all of our shows.

How Do I Get My Tickets?

All of our tickets are printed for will-call. This means that if you purchase in advance, physical tickets will be waiting for you at the box office in the lobby of the theatre before the show. Our lobby is open 1 hour prior to showtime. Tickets can also be mailed upon request for a $3 fee.

Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds on tickets. All ticket sales are final.

Exchange Policy

Tickets can be exchanged with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to a different performance of the same show for a $3 fee per ticket by calling the box office at (604) 689-0926. Tickets booked using a season pass may be exchanged free of charge.

If you cannot make a performance, and exchanging to a different date is not an option, you may donate your ticket(s) to the Firehall and receive a tax receipt (a minimum $20 purchase value is required for a tax receipt).

“I feel personally valued by the staff of the Firehall whenever I connect - booking and changing tickets is easy and pleasant.”

We’re Grateful to Be Here.

The Firehall Arts Centre is located on the unceded and traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) First Nations where they lived and gathered together for thousands of years. Acknowledging their connections to these lands is a significant part of what the Firehall considers when choosing the productions and presentations we undertake and how that work shapes and impacts those around us. We ask our community to reflect on what being present here means to you and those around you.
